Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2021 Notification: Indian Coast Guard has started the online application process for the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik for 01/2022 Batch today i.e. on 02 July 2021. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for ICG DB GD Recruitment 2021 on or before 16 July 2021 on joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.

ICG Notification was published in the employment newspaper dated  19 June 2021 to 25 June 2021 and on the official website.

A total number of 350 vacancies are available under various branch. The basic training for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik will commence in February 2022 and Navik (Domestic Branch) in April 2022 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade

  1. Navik (General Duty) – 260
  2. Navik (Domestic Branch) – 50
  3. Yantrik (Mechanical) – 20
  4. Yantrik (Electrical) – 13
  5. Yantrik (Electronics) – 07

ICG Navik Salary and ICG  Yantrik Salary:

  1. Navik (General Duty) – Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
  2. Navik (Domestic Branch) – Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
  3. Yantrik – Basic pay Rs. 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, candidates will be paid Yantrik pay @ Rs. 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.

Educational Qualification:

  1. Navik (General Duty) – 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
  2. Navik (Domestic Branch) -1 0th Class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
  3. Yantrik. 10th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Age Limit:

18 to 22 years as follow:

  1. For Navik (GD) and Yantrik – Born between 01 Feb 2000 to 31 Jan 2004 (both dates inclusive)
  2. For Navik (DB)  – Born between 01 Apr 2000 to 31 March 2004 (both dates inclusive).
